The Wiederhold & Associates Difference
THE DIFFERENCE IN OUR PROGRAMS - TWO TRANSITION PROGRAMS: CORPORATE AND INDIVIDUAL At Wiederhold & Associates, we strive to provide services that match the needs of our clients. That’s why we offer two transition programs: corporate and individual. Our Executive Partnership Quest (EPQ), sponsored by the individual, identifies professional and personal uniqueness and packages it to effectively promote the client to a targeted market as a “unique” product. Our corporate transition program allows the sponsoring organization to outsource the management of impacted employees, which reduces costs and time associated with this important task, while ensuring positive results for both the employee and the organization.
THREE PHASE PROGRAM Both Transition Programs follow a three-phased structure. This structure offers a comprehensive, proven approach to career development.
PHASE ONE: Phase One of our program includes assessment, planning, dealing effectively with the separation, explaining the sales process (what to expect), and addressing controllable versus non-controllable issues. This phase is designed to provide you with everything you need to know and feel before we launch your process.
PHASE TWO: We often call Phase Two “Nuts and Bolts.” It includes creation of the plan and activities, two transitions, a two-minute presentation, spousal support and involvement, phone and face-to-face interviewing, the exit story, daily schedule, home office setup, reference control, networking and relationship building (we make most of the introductions), marketing materials (resume and cover letter), negotiations, effective schedules, research, and job lead support. Phase Two ends when you find a position.
PHASE THREE: Phase Three encompasses the first six months in your new position. Do you have a clear understanding of short and long term expectations? Are you communicating at the right level? Do you know who the key relationships are? Do you understand the politics of the organization? Are you maintaining a business journal? These questions help us make sure you are transitioning successfully into your new position.
