INDIVIDUAL TRANSITION PROGRAM–
EXECUTIVE PARTNERSHIP QUEST (EPQ)

PHASE TWO

Phase Two involves the creation of the plan and activities, as well as the following:

  • Designing an effective resume to serve as a “Sales Representative”
  • Constructing the best explanation for separation from the organization
  • Managing references
    • Developing the long list of references
    • Determining the best references to use for each job opportunity
  • Networking
    • Learning networking skills
    • Developing the networking data base
    • Utilizing our contacts within the healthcare industry
  • Working with executive search firms
    • Establishing the ideal relationship
  • Using the internet in your job search
  • Developing interviewing skills – making a sales call and demonstrating the product
    • Understanding today’s interview and how to manage it
    • Telephone interviewing skills
    • Face-to-face interviewing skills
    • Attend WinTheView™ training session

WinTheView™ (WTV™), included in Phase II, is a powerful interview preparation tool that is designed to help clients determine the critical hiring requirements and formulate the key points they wish to articulate before and during the interview process. A PDF file is generated in the form of a flip chart-like presentation that can be printed and taken to the interview as a reference or leave behind. The WTV™ development center is secure and enables the job seeker to prepare multiple presentations, follow-up letters and accomplishment stories with online access 24/7.· The benefit of this program is to differentiate our clients and to have them stand apart from their competition in today’s challenging healthcare market.

  • Increasing written communication skills
    • Understanding the types of correspondence utilized during a job search and
      how to construct each
  • Negotiating your employment contract
  • Transitioning into the new position
  • Establishing a home office
    • Due to the volatility of the healthcare industry, it is important that each
executive establish an effective home office to assist
in the ongoing management of their career
  • Organizing the search
    • Developing a system to maximize productivity

Phase Two ends when the client has found that next opportunity.

PHASE THREE

Phase Three encompasses the first six months in the client’s new position. Once the client is in a new position, we monitor progress through the first six months. We help the executive focus on areas key to his or her longevity. We do not charge for this phase; we include it because we have a strong commitment to the success of our clients.

FINDING THE BEST MATCH

Following completion of the workshop, we engage in several initiatives to help individuals find the best match for their career.

  • We regularly coach and counsel the individual. We are open and available to
discuss any matters of concern. We make it clear that we are friends as well
as a professional resource; that we are available to help in any way possible.
  • We make individuals aware of new opportunities as we learn about them.
Additionally, we provide, on a weekly basis, a listing of current healthcare
management opportunities. We assist the individual in researching organizations
and industry executives. We prepare the executive for employment interviews
and critique performance afterwards. We help the individual effectively manage
    references throughout the transition period.
  • We assign the individual a mentor when appropriate to help ensure a more
successful search. The mentor is a former program participant who has lived
the experience and can share the do’s and don’ts of the process.
  • To further assist the individual, we provide ongoing secretarial/word processing
support. We furnish a supply of resumes, stationery and business cards.
We mail or email the individual’s resume to healthcare search firms and other
targeted organizations, and we make strategic introductions to both recruiters
and other healthcare professionals on behalf of the individual.

We clearly believe in going the extra mile for our clients. We are told that we provide more support than other firms, and we believe this is necessary and appropriate. Our commitment is to exercise every professional resource.
