The firm's mission is to become the premier provider of career management and transition services to the healthcare industry and, at the same time, never to lose our personal touch and relationship focus.

  • Partnering with our sponsoring organization to provide the highest quality service at a competitive fee, and to insure that the separating employee reflects on the sponsoring organization in a positive manner.

  • Treating the client with compassion and dignity, understanding the personal and professional turmoil being experienced by the individual and their family.

  • Providing each client with the highest level of service and support to prepare the individual to move forward with their career on a timely basis.

  • Preparing the client to manage their career for a lifetime rather than a single episode.

  • When necessary, going outside the usual provisions of the career transition program to meet special needs of the client.
Additional areas of differentiation include:   Most firms are reducing their services; we are expanding ours while holding our prices constant.

Many outplacement firms set a time limit for working with their clients.  Wiederhold & Associates supports each client until he/she successfully transitions; and does so at a competitive fee.

Most outplacement firms provide no support once a client has secured a new position.  We know that the first months in a new role is a critical time for insuring long-term success.  Therefore, we maintain close contact with our clients for a least their first six months in the new organization.

We provide network teleconferencing sessions for our clients who are located throughout the country.  These meetings actively bring job seekers together for effective network expansion.

When an organization provides its employees with career transition/outplacement assistance, they will leave the company with a positive feeling about the organization because it helped them to find employment elsewhere.  If not offered, they may take every opportunity to talk negatively about their prior employer.
